Last updated: 2026-10-04. These terms apply when you buy or use a course from Modern Tai Chi.
1. What we sell
Modern Tai Chi sells online video courses. When you buy a course you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to watch its lessons for as long as the account that bought it exists. You may watch the lessons on any device you own.
2. Your account
You need an account to watch purchased lessons. You can create one while checking out, or later from the My Account page. Keep your password to yourself; anyone who logs in with your account can watch your lessons.
3. Buying
Prices are shown in US dollars. Payment is processed by PayPal or Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Your order confirmation is sent to the email address you enter at checkout.
4. Digital content and the 14-day guarantee
Courses are delivered digitally and can be watched as soon as payment completes. Under EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital purchase, but that right is lost once you begin watching. We therefore offer a 14-day money-back guarantee measured from the moment you start watching the course: if the course is not what you expected, tell us within 14 days of your first lesson and we refund the full amount.
To request a refund, write to the address on the Contact page with the email address you used at checkout. We do not ask you to give a reason.
5. What we ask of you
Do not share, resell, or publish the lesson videos. Do not attempt to download or copy them in bulk. We can suspend an account that does this, without refund.
6. Our liability
Tai Chi involves physical movement. Nothing in a course is medical advice. If you are injured, pregnant, recovering from surgery, or have a condition that affects your balance or joints, talk to a doctor before practising, and keep the movements within a range you can control. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any loss arising from a course is limited to the amount you paid for it.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day you buy.
